Content Moderation Policy

Our Approach We use a combination of automated tools, user reports, and human review to moderate content on Crawdaddyz. Our goal is to create a safe space while respecting free expression and diverse community participation. What Gets Removed Immediate Removal — The following content is removed immediately: • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) • Content depicting or promoting terrorism • Non-consensual intimate images • Content that incites imminent violence • Credible threats of harm Prohibited Content — Content that violates our policies will be removed: • Harassment, bullying, or hate speech • Sexually explicit material • Graphic violence or gore • Spam and commercial solicitation • Doxxing or privacy violations • Copyright infringement • Impersonation or fake accounts • Coordinated inauthentic behavior Content That Requires Context Some content may be allowed with appropriate warnings or context: • Discussions of difficult topics (food safety incidents, vendor disputes) with content warnings • Historical or educational content about food safety • Artistic or creative expression that may be sensitive • Food handling practices that require safety disclaimers Reporting Process How to Report: Use the report button on any content that violates our policies. Reports are confidential. What Happens Next: 1. Your report is received and queued for review 2. A moderator reviews the content and context 3. Action is taken if violation is confirmed 4. You may receive a notification about the outcome Review Timeline: • High-priority reports: Within 1 hour • Standard reports: Within 24 hours • Non-urgent reports: Within 72 hours Enforcement Actions When violations occur, we may take the following actions: Content Level: • Remove violating content • Add content warnings or age restrictions • Reduce content visibility Account Level: • Warning (first minor violation) • Temporary suspension (repeated or moderate violations) • Permanent ban (severe or repeated violations) We consider the severity, context, and history when determining consequences. Appeals Process If your content was removed or your account was suspended, you can appeal: 1. Email jefferyph21@gmail.com with your username and the content in question 2. Explain why you believe the action was incorrect 3. A different moderator will review your appeal 4. You'll receive a decision within 5 business days Appeal decisions are final. Transparency We believe in transparency about our moderation practices: • We publish quarterly transparency reports • We explain our decisions when possible • We continuously improve our policies based on feedback Working With Authorities We cooperate with law enforcement when required by law or when we believe there's an imminent threat to safety.
