Our Policy Crawdaddyz respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond to valid copyright infringement notices. Before Filing a DMCA Notice Consider whether the use of your work may be fair use. Fair use is a legal doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material without permission for purposes such as education, commentary, or transformative works. If you're unsure, consult with an attorney before filing a DMCA notice. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice To file a valid DMCA takedown notice, you must provide the following information in writing: 1. Identification of copyrighted work: Describe the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list. 2. Identification of infringing material: Provide the URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing material so we can locate it. 3. Contact information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address. 4. Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. 5. Accuracy statement: A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. 6. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature. Where to Send Notices Send DMCA takedown notices to our designated copyright agent: DMCA Agent — Crawdaddyz Email: jefferyph21@gmail.com Subject line: "DMCA Takedown Notice" What Happens Next Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice: 1. We will review the notice for completeness 2. We will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material 3. We will notify the user who posted the content 4. We may forward the notice to the user Timeline: We aim to respond within 24-48 hours of receiving a valid notice. Filing a Counter-Notice If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you can file a counter-notice containing: 1. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email) 2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal 3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification 4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court 5. Your physical or electronic signature Send counter-notices to: jefferyph21@gmail.com After a Counter-Notice If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content. Repeat Infringers We will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances. Important Warning Filing a false or fraudulent DMCA notice may result in legal liability. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), you may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees, if you knowingly materially misrepresent that material is infringing. Questions?
